I Have A Prescription For 10mg Prednisone . I WASN'T

I have a prescription for 10mg prednisone . I WASN'T CLEAR ON HOW TO TAKE THE DOES SINCE 3 Xa day would be every eight hours. I toke the first one at 2:15 pm and relaized I didn't have enought time to take 3 the first day. It said to take exactly as directed so I called the pharmacy and the pharmasist said tak all three at once. Is this okay and should I do thst the other days also ?
