I Have A Similar Problem To The One I Just

I have a similar problem to the one I just read about here. I had an extraction done a week ago. It was with the dentist who placed two implants for me 4 years ago, one tooth had been out for years with a bridge over it, the other had to be removed. After the implants, I don't even remember having any pain. This time, it was another root canal tooth, fractured, with a root in my sinus. Because I have since read things about metal allergies, and the fact that this tooth was in my sinus, I elected not to have an implant done. (Implants were on the lower left. This tooth is upper right.) I did, however, let him do a bone graft. I have experienced some pain, not a great deal, but only took two pain pills on the day and the day after. I am on an antibiotic, but it is the third one, as I was on one in February for a UTI, and my dentist gave me another because I had to go out of town for the surgery. I am concerned that because of the other two, this one may not be working. I am not in constant pain, but all of my teeth have been sore, which I understand is normal, and I have had some ear pain. I know the blood clot is supposed to stay in the socket, and that it has a hormone to make the bone fill in. But, I have these thought about an infection being in there, that isn't being controlled. And, when there is ear pain, I feel it, although it isn't constant. I guess I am anticipating a situation with a hole in the sinus, an infection that is still there, and being a person that likes to prevent whatever I can before it gets worse, such as fever, swelling, etc., I thought I would ask, and probably you don't even know if the sore throat, sinus congestion, and drainage, are something I should be concerned about. I read about how to test to see if there is a hole there, but the dentist who did this is very good, and I am thinking he wouldn't have left a hole, unless he didn't realize there was one. I have allergies. It could be that. It could be a cold. I realize all of this, but I still worry. I also wanted to make sure I could use Nasonex spray, which I have only used a couple of times because I didn't know if there was a hole, would it be worse. Any way, thank you for being there.
