I Have A Stomach/intestinal Infection With Occasional Cramps And Frequent

I have a stomach/intestinal infection with occasional cramps and frequent motion (5-6 times a day). I started taking Tinidazole 3 days ago. Dosage: 2g once daily after meals in the night. Two doses are done but I don't see much improvement. Could the medicine be fake? Can I and should I switch to Norflox-TZ? How many more days at the minimum should I take medication?
