I Have Been Experiencing Some Chest Pain For 24 Hrs. What Could Be The Reason?

I am a 26 yr old female, i have been experiencing some chest pain for 24 hrs, coming and going last night and since about 11am today comming frequent left and right and in center, right before my chest pain last night I discovered throat swollen, white puss bumps, throat hurts nothing crazy! i didnt sleep last night cause of it, I am in pain now and scared to fall asleep. I took 2 antacids, my husband thought it might be acid reflux . it has seemed to help a little. Should I be worried?

Hi

you have pharyngitis either from bacterial or viral. You need mono spot test, rapid step test and throat culture. Throat infection cause enlargement of lympnodes in the vicinity. You need a course of antibiotics.

Regarding chest pain, it is clearly GERD. Take proton ix/prilocec/pan top
