I Have Been Getting Cramps And Severe Pain Under The Defibrillator
I had an AICD implanted 2 years ago and recently have been getting cramps and severe pain under the defibrillator. Is this normal and is there anything I can do to help with the pain. I'm afraid that it is going to shock me!

welcome to HCM...,
AICD...stands...Automatic Implanted Cardioverter Defebrillator....
It is working by Lithium batteries ...life span is10 years...
Cramps and severe pain under defibrillator not usually seen...,
But chances are due low battery performance.......
and also seen in aged, stress, Obesity, Smoking , ...
Using other medication will precipitate the above symptoms....
But warning signals are.....Redness and swelling under defibrillator
Chest pain, Muscle twitches, Palpitation, swelling of all limbs...
Any how once consult your near Cardiologist to rule out the
any pathology behind it o.k. good luck.....
