I have been having a blood pressure problem after having two heart cath's. I had two stents inserted and then the BP was very high so had another cath and all is well with the arteries but the BP is still high. We can't seem to find the right blood pressure medicine for me. At first I had labetalol for several weeks but I could not tolerate that as it completely wiped me out. Now I am trying Hydralazine, 25 mg three times a day. It is doing a fair job of controlling my bp, but sometimes it still spikes upwards to 190. I am having horrific headaches, which I thought may be sinus headaches, but maybe not. Does Hydralazine cause headaghes?
