I have been having black string/flecks in my mucous. I had a cat scan done in august and found a mass in my left nasal cavity that my doctor removed with a turb/fess surgery. I have continued to have these black things in my snot. I also have a sore throat almost as though my throat is swollen. It's hard to swallow. I am fatigued all the time. I have hair loss. I have brain fog all the time. I also did a Barium swallow which diagnosed me with GERD. I am now on 40 MG of omeprazole once a day. I do not feel this is doing anything. It makes me nauseous as well. My doctor is at a loss. I don't know where to turn.
