Is there anything that causes these mood swings? Annoying comments by your husband? PMS? High temperatures?

It could be pms...but its lasting alot longer than pms usually is for me...it doesnt have to be an annoying comment from my husband to set me off...its any little tiny thing can set me off. and i have no idea why. Ive never been this bad before and my co-workers are starting to notice it also.

I totally felt the way you did SMS... I started with anxiety and depression and just found out that I am bi-polar. You only hear really negative bipolar stories but there are several several sides of it. I started noticing my mood swings and crying spells, very bad anxiety which is 85% better now, and times when I would be really angry. Please talk to a psychiatrist. The hardest part is making the phone call...

Psychiatrist Dr. B. P. Sinha's  Response
You did not mention your detail history but it seems to be case of mood disorder & you can start taking mood stablizer like Depakote [Divalproic Acid / Divalproex] 750mg in night with 1 or 2mg Clonazepam in the night. If it is extreme swing then you can add Olanzapine 10 mg in night also.

Hi,

Thank you for the clear description.
You probably suffering from bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder is a combination of recurrent attack mania and depression. Manic features are aggressive and abusive behaviour, decrease sleep, growing grudge on people whom she don't like and taking revenge with bad words while arguing, over thinking on any incident. While depressive features are when she was sitting quietly not talking nor interested in daily activities, anxiety, recalling those previous incidents in her life, reduced sleep, etc.

Consult a psychiatrist for proper management.

Best wishes.
