I Have Been Taking 50 Mg Of Tramadol For Hip/knee

I have been taking 50 mg of Tramadol for hip/knee pain prior to replacement surgery. Since taking this drug I've experienced cold hands, numb fingers, muscle weakness, tingling (burning) of skin especially on the left side of my body. Pain in muscles of legs. I've decided to stop taking it. I'm waiting on a return call from the prescribing physician. In the meantime is there anything I can do to detox and get Tramadol out of my system to see if these are side-effects as I've read they are online. I first noticed tingling about two weeks after beginning med. At my last appt. I discussed symptoms with my GP. He referred me to a neurologist whom I'm waiting to see. I came across side-effects of Tramadol and think perhaps that is my problem. Any help?
