I Have Been Taking Medication, Ritalin, Since Late 2010 For

I have been taking medication, Ritalin, since late 2010 for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am 53, will be 54 in September. Lately, I am feeling extreme fatigue most of the time. I had a small pouch Gastric Bypass in 1999. Other symptoms, I have been having a lot of lower extremity swelling, now believed to be lymphedema related to multiple surgeries. (I have had vascular procedures to my iliac veins, no improvement. I have seen a certified lymphedema specialist) Ritalin seems to get me through the morning, but the afternoon dose, does little to improve. I take B-12 injections every 2 weeks, and liquid iron daily. Is filing disability something I should consider? Is there a cure I don't know about?
