Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i was diagnosed add or adhd im unsure of which. I did a series of tests with a therapist, and a medical doctor. They both agreed because they spoke with each other via phone. Medical doctor prescribed me a low dose long acting medication. (non-narcotic) Im also a college student, and the medication he gave me, which were samples, did not work. He said he would try me on a different medication, which would be ritalin or something to that nature. I havent went back yet. he just stopped excepting my type of insurance. How would i go about getting my proper medication with a different doctor who accepts my insurance? what would i even tell the new doctor? thank you.
