I Have Blood Pressure Sine Last 20 Years. I Was

I have blood pressure sine last 20 years. I was being given one tablet a day brand name Tenoret 50. Generic name of this medicine is Atenelol 50mg plus Chlorthalidone 12.5mg. In last two three years my BP started going up a little and one more tablet was added. It's brand name is IreCon and it's generic name is Irbesatan 150 mg.
Now my cardiologist added another tablet called Sofvasc 5mg because my BP and heart beat was fluctuating. It frequently went up to 175/105. Some how I myself thought these three tablets are too much/over dose. So I have not not used Sofvasc regularly. My lower BP remains between 95 to 105. Please advise should I start taking Sofvasc regularly. Will it help me to maintain my BP at normal level? My age is 69 years and I am a female.
