I Have Had A Chesty Cough For A Week Now, Makes Me Choke Also Its Worse At Night.
Hi ive had a chesty cough for a week now, makes me choke also its worse at night, its that bad I wee when I cough which is embarresing, my chest hurts also Female age 43, take medication for high blood pressure, been on them for few years

This cough can be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux secondary to acid reflux from th stomach which worsens on lying down. Drink plenty of water, lie down on the left side. Take your meals at least 2 hours before you go to bed.
