Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a fib for close to four years now and currently with Kaiser. They seem to indicate that I am past the point of surgery due to enlarged atrium and the amount of time. Stanford however has a different view since I`m only 49 years and with the use of there latest mapping device I would have a better than average chance. Kaiser is currently refusing to pay to send me there. Any advise I would certainly appreciate. I feel as though it is progressing in the wrong direction and would like a chance to stop it now. Kaiser literally said Stanford commercials are just a marketing technique.
