I Have Had A History Of Knee Pain And Issues,

I have had a history of knee pain and issues, but now there is something really wrong with my knee and can't pin point what. Hx: locking of both knees in bent position, possibly a tendon issues, very painful and can take hrs to unlock. Started as young teen. Blogs often found online and no specialist as has been able to help. Knees will slip into locked position if sitting Indian style and muscles allowed to slowly relax. Someone once mentioned due to enicus being too long, not necessarily complete, just too long. Very flexible joint s altogether. Genu recurvatum , been measured at -17. Of course occ anterior knee pain and sensitive knee caps, nothing new. Hx of hyperextension injuries playing soccer multiple times. Hx of yrs being unable to run a few steps without pain and giving way, but able to run now. Also, slightly "loose" patellas. So that's my Hx.
Recently about july, I started having sharp, literally gasping take your breath away pain to the lateral R knee and feeling of giving way. Then knee feeling VERY loose within the next cpl days. Shifting feeling within knee and pain from lateral to posterior/medial side , especially occur on uneven ground with clunking and popping. Difficulty bending and straightening knee with walking and continue pain in knee. Peg legged it off and on for about a week for stability and decrease irritation. Pain finally starting to subside after a cpl weeks, then after about two nth, clunking resloved and slowly becoming more stable again. Finally got to see a Dr. Negative on x-Ray and MRI. I had a really hard time with getting MRI due to discomfort of pad on knee caps and muscles spasms. Dr said spot on medial knee cartilage being to wear. I couldn't believe nothing showed. I originally thought degenerative bucket handle (I'm 32), or bits of junk needing to be scoped at least from hx. "Strength and exercise" yeah well I had been doing more and I'm actually pretty strong legged. I do occ have limited function going up steps now, probably from favoring the last few mrhs but not consistent. Can no longer do LAQ due to pressure and more mechanical issue than pain. Many ex actually irritated my knee more. Still a lot of popping, some shifting affecting my balance. Noticed it occurs more and becomes irritated with excessive tibial rotation during activities. Wrapping knees before hand helps . Occ random pain either ant or medial for most part. Knee still feels unstable, now starting to kick back and lock randomly when walking. Doesn't hurt when this happens, just jaring and unexpected. With my hx of Knees and continued popping , sharp jabs of pain, some mechanical issues.....what is going on? I feel like there is something in there loose or damaged causing issues during at bearing and slowly getting better. My symptoms have been inconsistent and similar to several things, but not 100%. I would also like to know about this possibly of too long of a meniscus. When previously described, it fit all of my symptoms regarding of the locking of knees in bent position.
