I Have Had A Small Bump On My Toe Next

I have had a small bump on my toe next to the big toe for ages. I also have some on my fingers. I just now noticed that the bump on the toe is black. There is no pain associated with this and no tenderness. Do I need to worry about this. I plan on calling my nurse practioner tomorrow.
