I Have Had Hives For Over Two Months Now. Due

I have had hives for over two months now. Due to my insurance I cannot get allergy tests done. I was wondering what I can do for my hives. I've been taking generic antihistamines but they are not working anymore. Any suggestions on what I can take or should I mix up taking the different generics? My hives can get pretty itchy.
