I Have Intermittent Mild Pain In Left Arm And Chest. Should I Be Worried About A Heart Failure?

HI, I'm wondering what the pain in the left arm feels like before or during a heart attack, I might be a hypochondriac but I've been having pain in my left arm for a few days now, it is not severe and not constant, kind of feels like someone is putting pressure on a certain spot for a few seconds, then it goes away. Im worried about this because I am a smoker, i'm a woman, 38, not overweight by any means, and I drink alcohol. I also have some mild chest pains now and then, this has been going on for over a year, Ive had chest x rays, and tests for a heart attack about a year ago and everything came back fine, so I just want to know if I should be worried about this pain or write it off as nothing. Thank you.

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is chest pain with radiating pain in left arm with the history of smoking and alcohol then this need to be investigated for cardiac disease, and EKG and stress test would be advisable, although this may not be heart disease, but just for safe side this can not be under estimated, else this could be due to cervical cord compression, and in my opinion get done the cervical x- ray, hope this information helps, take car, have a good day.
