I Have Malignant Melanoma. How Often Should I Be Checked?
I have many dark and irregular moles , I was checked over by a dermatologist in the US in Jan, and he told me their some that should be watched. I should mention I had two Melanoma surgeries, and many pre cancerous biopsies done. The full melanomas were now 10 years ago, so how often should I be checked?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
If the melanoma suddenly increases in size or unusually itchy or painful, you should immediately consult a dermatologist, otherwise once in a year should suffice.
Avoid scratiching the melanoma frequently, because constant irritation could induce a melanoma to become malignant.
Wish you all the best.
