Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

Patient with long standing diabetes, have initially sensory neuropathy which is one of the microvascular complications.

It is associated with foot deformities like hammer toe and deformities which might pose risk for formation of ulcer.

Foot examination is must for every diabetes patients, every 6 months or yearly.

It is recommended for you to take foot scan imprintation followed with mechanical offloading using foot wear.

Periodical x rays will have greater role to play.

Thanks
