I Have Recently Been Diagnosed With Inverted Psoriasis In My

I have recently been diagnosed with inverted psoriasis in my groin and my dermatologist gave me Desonide ointment to stop the flare ups but the only problem is I'm not breaking out with tons of little ingrown hairs in the groin area especially around the folds of my legs and I want to know does desonide cause this or is this a side affect of always keeping the groin area lubed up so much? The flare ups are depressed but the hundreds of little ingrown hairs have now come in its place and is very annoying and sedative. Any help please
