I have severe right shoulder pain with point tenderness at the anterior termination of the humerus. I have no pain on lifting the arm up, in fact that will relieve the pain if I am lying down. My arm hurts on extreme movement side to side to either my chest or back. The pain is worse on sitting and especially kills me if I am sewing and pulling a long thread through the fabric. It is a moderately severe dull ache and sometimes my posterior portion of the muscle/tendon of my upper arm can ache and eventually even under the lower portion of my shoulder blade. I first injured it by carrying a large watermelon in a bag with handles with my right arm straight at the elbow.
