Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have something on the back of my neck near the spine about half way between my hairline and where the shoulders start. It is not detectable st all by sight, and can only be felt when I tilt my head back. Tilting my head causes it to protrude, and it feels almost like a lymph node in that it's not soft and squishy, but not hard like a rock. It feels almost like cartilage and if it is pressed it will move in and out but I'm not sure about side to side or up and down. I'm going nuts as to what it can be and have found several possibilities of people describing the same thing but no answers.
