I Have Systolic High Pretension. My BP Usually Runs Around

I have systolic high pretension. My BP usually runs around mid 120-130 systolic over high 60-mid 70 diastolic. I am currently taking diltiazem 180 mg am and pm. I also take 50 mg losartan am and pm. I take 50 mg of hydrochlorothiazide in the am. Since being put on diltiazem I have a continuous problem with swelling in the lower legs, ankles and feet. It has slightly improved since being put on the hydro, but is still significant enough that my shoes are too tight. I would like to approach my cardiologist about getting off the diltiazem and asking him to prescribe another calcium channel blocker since I never had this fluid retention problem until he prescribed the diltiazem. Also, do you think an increase in the hydro might diminish the swelling? Thank you
