I have two different diagnosis on my bunion. operated on once before 23 years ago, my right foot now is swelling on a daily basis, hurts even in flip flops and I have a hammer toe as a result. One will put lots of hardware and the other wants to fuse the 2 bones together and shorten the next toe as it is a head above the big toe.
Both say arthritis ate all of the cartilage.
