sweetie its fine i was the same way but i got my peroids in my birthday(13th)it wass uncomfortable but i have them a year now and i an used 2 it...:)

You dont need to get scared...its fine that you have got your perios at age of 11...there are girls younger than you at 9 years of age they have got their periods...its all due to the hormonal changes, no one to blame for it..just speak to your mom, tell her that this is what has happened..you dont need to be ashamed of anything...stick to using pads, avoid tampons, they can cause hurt and infection both.

im going through the same thing but i've had mine for about a month without tellinga anyone but i live with my dad,older sister and brother but my sister was cacthing on really fast till one day she found out at first i was scared that she would make fun but she didnt because she went through the same thing.Dont be scared to tell your mom or sister they went through the same thing.And i forgot to tell you im 11 too.

well im an onli child and im 12. i dont know what to do. I told my mom and dad and they say its natural. but for some reason i feel  wierd abouut it because im always baby like i dont want it and i could reall use some well thought  of advice to help me

Getting your  period is perfectally normal at that age it just means that your hormones are changing. If you     cant talk to your mom or sister talk to another woman  you are close to teacher, nurse friends mom anyone. If i were you i would stick to pads in my opinion you are too young to use tampons and they are very tricky and can be unsafe if not used right, so stick to pads for now. Other then that you will be fine it is perfectally normal.
