I (or Rather My Physician) Have Tried Simvasttin, Lovastatin And

I (or rather my physician) have tried simvasttin, lovastatin and atorvastatin to treat dyslipidemia. All three worked well to raise HDL, and lower LDL and triglycerides. All three cused intolerable myalgia and arthrlalgia and had to be discontinued.
What are my options?
I am an 82 years old male in good health, non-diabetic, and have no history of CVA's or heart disease. I am borderline overweight by about 5 lbs for my height. No bruit in the Carotid arteries. BP is WNL and controlled by HCT and metoprolol.
