I Recently Had A 2 Inch Diameter Non-cancerous Tumor Removed

I recently had a 2 inch diameter non-cancerous tumor removed from my colon along with 2 ft. of colon. I'd not had normal bowel movements since I was a child and discovered during the colonoscopy I had extra colon mashed in my body to fit a 6 ft. 2 in. man. (I'm 5 ft.). It was great having bowel movements for the first time after the surgery. Before this I'd been doing an enema every day because laxatives etc. just built up in my stomach but nothing would happen. I'm noticing now after almost 6 weeks that my BM's are still diarrhea (I use milk of magnesia at night to get BM's in the morning) and feel like there is still alot of sludge that stays in. It is very uncomfortable feeling that way all day. Is it safe to do a 2 qt. coffee enema once every couple of weeks or once a month and do you have any suggestions for getting rid of the extra "sludge" that stays in there? I have MS and have loss of feeling down there anyway but am honest when I say I miss doing the enema where at least I feel cleaned out. Any advice?
