I recently had a lung biopsy done because there are spots on my lungs that showed in a CT w/contrast. The doctor has tested everything by blood and so far nothing is showing up. I still have to wait a few weeks to see if the final test results identify why I am coughing up mucus most of the time, do a lot of coughing, increased cpap pressure, started central sleep apnea, exhaustion, some mental confusion, and now have mild asthma. A couple of the first results mentioned LIGHT GROWTH OF MIXED ORAL FLORA^ and MODERATE CILIATED EPITHELIAL CELLS from the bronchial washings BRONCHOSCOPY SITE . I am just wanting to research out what these mean. I am sure they are normal but I would like to know just what they mean.
