I Take 137 Mcg Of Synthroid Daily For My Underactive

I take 137 mcg of Synthroid daily for my underactive thyroid; I started out on 25 mcg probably 15 years or more ago, then went to 50, then 75, & then right to 137, which I've been taking for almost 2 years. Lately--for 2-3 months--I've been experiencing increasing fatigue, I'm often cold and have trouble warming up, & my feet are often very cold, which is quite unusual for me; I'm usually hot when others are fine or chilly & my feet are almost always very hot! ! I have an appt. with my dr. March 23, and I'd try to get in sooner, but we are going out of state next week until the 20th, so I won't have a chance. I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to cut some of my pills in quarters & take an extra quarter each day--33 more mcg per day--to see if my symptoms improve.
