I Was Diagnosed With Hormone-positive Breast Cancer Treated With A

I was diagnosed with hormone-positive breast cancer treated with a lumpectomy and radiation rx. I was started on an aromatase inhibitor that made me so very tired and anxious and caused joint pains. (I am 74 years old so some arthritis is expected.) On a follow-up visit I told the oncologist I had suspended the medication for three months because I was traveling and wanted to feel better for the trip. By that time I had been off of it for a month. She changed my script to exemustane which I've been on since August 15th. The side effects are somewhat less than the original aromatase inhibitor but I still get very tired during the day time even after a presumably decent night of sleep (insomnia is sometimes an issue).
I am wondering whether I could take the exemustane every other night instead of every night and still achieve benefit?
