I Was Diagnosed With Hypoglycemia As An Early Teen And

I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia as an early teen and I was never told to get a monitor or insulin. I’m 28 now and lately I’ve been have more frequent episodes with it and even experiencing high blood sugar. I know it may be stupid to as but I wanted to know if hypoglycemia is diabetes? Do I need a monitor and insulin?
