I was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2000 and has CHOP Rituxan in 2002. Towards end of 2009 I completed Fludarabine and Rituxan and have been stable to date, Dec 13 2015. On Sept 11, 2015 I implanted a biventicular ICD with 3 leads likely due to the 2002 use of doxyrubicin/adriomyacin with CHOP. Goal is to combine device with Carvedilol and Ramipril to improve the ejection fraction which is now about 40% up from 30. I tend to have low blood pressure and pulse so just reduced some of the heart meds---Ramipril and Carvedilol. My problem is a stubborn sinusitis that Levofloxan (antribiotic) won't heal. Blood tests show low wbc rbc sodium calcium protein albumin hgb hct plt and neutrophils. And blood is high on mcv mch lymphocytes momocytes glucose and bnp. LDH is in normal range.
I am a 69 year old lifelong fitness instructor (cycling classes, group exercise classes for seniors and well as weight training, core, and aerobic classes which I have recently cut back to get better but I am not. I have some big night sweats recently, especially when I take 400 ibuprofen before sleep.
I will have a CT exam Wednesday morning. Is there anything I can do to help ease the sinusitis (can't take sudophed due to conflict with heart meds and low blood pressure). I have used netipot morning and night but not working. After dose of levoquin did not work, my doctor did not want to extend use of antibiotics.
