I Was Given A New Prescription For Cefdinir For Sinus

I was given a new prescription for cefdinir for sinus infection. I thought the Dr. said take 2 tablets/capsules per day 12 hours apart. I thought that meant 1 every 12 hours.
The written info on bottle says 2 capsules once a day. Pharmacist says it should be 1 every 12 hours normally. What is normal and what is your interpretation? Thanks.
