I Went To Emergency On Monday And Today Is Thursday.
I went to emergency on Monday and today is Thursday. I had a huge swollen neck underneath my jaw on both sides. I had mumps when I was a kid so I felt this was not going to be the case. Dr. in emergency differed in opinion; and said he thought it may very well be mumps. I don't have a sore throat; I do have a mild fever and am struggling with extreme dry mouth. Also, if I am not taking Advil, my head really starts to hurt. I am generally achy all over and as a precaution, have stayed at home. The Doctor phoned back today with results negative for mumps. What else could it possibly be?
