I woke up one morning three weeks ago, unable to lift my left arm. I went to the emergency room and the eliminated heart attack and stroke and diagnosed a pinched nerve. I am scheduled for an MRI next week, but I have been told that the MRI only looks at a small area. Should I be asking for other tests?
One of my friends said she had a frozen shoulder that started the same way. I don't really have any pain, I just can't lift my arm. I have full use of my hand.
