IS Mild Mitral Valve Prolapse A Classic Form ?

Good morning, I ve been diagnosed with a mild mitral valve prolapse and trivial mitral regurgitation . I ve learn that there s classic and nonclassic form of mvp. Dear,thanks for your query.Yes you are right there are two sub types of MVP.Based on thickness of leaflets they are classified.more then 5mm is classic.As far as treatment is concerned in the absence of any other problem and complaints there is no treatment needed.bye and take care.
