I\'m 45 And Have Needed Glasses/contacts For 40 Years (near-nearsightedness).

I\'m 45 and have needed glasses/contacts for 40 years (near-nearsightedness). To date, I have not needed bi-focals. Here\'s something that I think is peculiar. About 2 weeks ago, I literally saw the effects of my eyesight changing before my very eyes. It was instantaneous. I was reading as I normally do and then all of a sudden, it went out of focus. Adjusting the length of the material away from my eyes or sliding my glasses down my nose overcame the new focal point and I could read just fine again. Far off objects were hardly affected, if at all. I was planning to visit my eye doctor shortly, as I suspected that I needed bi-focals now. Then, just today, I was in the back yard playing with my dogs when I noticed that my focus had changed again...this time for the better. Again, instant change. It appears that my vision has returned to what it was before (or something very close to it). I don\'t have high blood pressure and my cholesterol is just fine. I am a little overweight, but I recently started going back to the gym again (used to be a quasi-gym rat. I took a couple of years off from the gym because of personal reasons). I\'m handling the gym routine just fine, and do not have any issues or side effects from exercising. I\'m not one of those that try to max out to impress or get stronger, but push myself just enough to increase my overall fitness. Should I be worried?
