I'm 49 years old female ~ wight 138 but since 9/2/15 gainede 8lb being sick ~ I have had vertigo since 4 / 2005 there is not a day I am not nauseas ~ light headed hard to watch tv~ all symptoms triggered by noise movements and learning to avoid certain foods. I have been to the ENT twice advised labrynitis sorry spelled wrong but on 9 /2/15 anytime i moved I would dry heeve the above symptoms mentioned to an extreme off balance~ the spinning at least did not occur in this extrme episode. My doctor stated vertigo but on 10/10/15 started to get a severe headache on my left side ~ tension in the shoulders and then to the top of the head. It is a burning sensation and painful even by touch i thought maybe a periodl headache due to starting my cycle ~ though ~never expierenced this before but that i swhat i thought ~ i took 400 to 800mg Ibuprofen over the counter ~ wasnt working getting worse ~ went to the doctor was given sumatriptan helpeda little but my insurance would not cover the full amount and is expensive~ I noticed that my left ear was starting to hurt more and this caused a little discomfort in my mouth~ left side ~went to the dentist no infection but a crown from a root canal had fallen off and a prior root canal was slightly infected ~ root canal redoen didnt help dentist extracted tooth still hasnt helped ~ Pending MRI approval from Insurance ~ 11/6/15 went to the ER catscan done nothing remarkable found no ear infection ~perscribed norco not helping ~ my head hurtsfrom the front to the top to the left to the right throbbing burning sensation ~ shoulder paind and left ear extrme pain~ when I am completely still the head pain is manageable ~ pain isabout 4 to 5 when I take the meds ~ I did geta massage didnt say a wordto the therapist and was advised a soft sore swollen spotbehind my left ear ~ doctor says migraine ~ dentist said cannot be dental ~ I have been on a leave fromworksince 9/2/15 to go back 11/17/15 feel worse than before~ Neurologist appointment on 10/26/15 he put in a referralfor approval for MRI but the approval has not evenbeen submitted yet as of 11/6/15 i know you cannot diagnose unless you seeme but could this be dnetal for the ear ? Is is noral for migraines to cause severe ear pain ~ I am not sensitive to ligh the room does not have to be dark ~ I have to say since I went to thedentist the vertigo is better but the earache is worse and head issue ~ your thoughts?
