I'm A 76 Year Old Female In Relatively Good Health

I'm a 76 year old female in relatively good health but as a care giver to my husband and my mom for 8-10 years I neglected myself to some degree. They have both passed away and I've started chair yoga and LOVE it but my instructor is insisting I see a physical therapist to determine if there are poses I shouldn't do. I had 3 occurrences of a sharp shooting pain under my right shoulder blade over an 8-day period but have not experienced it again in the subsequent 3 weeks. I cannot duplicate the pain by movement or touch or repeating exercises that might have triggered it. Generally I'm the type to give something 2-3 weeks to go away before consulting a doctor and believe this has gone away but she is still insisting I see a doctor before continuing. I'm not interested in wasting the time or money on something that bothered me only that briefly.
