Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm not sure where to start. I feel like I live a the doctor's office or hospital. I had to leave my career as a Special Education teacher in December 2015. I have chronic severe migraines. My energy is almost nonexistent. Just recently I noticed random muscle twitching. I also have days where I feel flu like including feeling feverish with skin so sensitive I don't want anyone to touch me. I do a have a VP Shunt due to hydrocephalus. I have a mass that sits on my brain stem which is inoperable. I was just at Emory University Hospital where they did an MRI, a shunt tap, along with numerous other tests. Everything came back normal. My neurologist doesn't have any answers other than trying to control/treat the migraines. My PCP is convinced. I have chronic fatigue syndrome & possibly Fibromyalgia. We are doing more testing this up-coming week. I'm beyond frustrated. Please help. Summer
