Immense Pain While Walking, Have Titanium Rod In Leg, Staying In Cold Weather Conditions. Cause And Remedy?
I am a 21 year old that has a titanium rod in my leg for 6 yrs and have pain when walking and less so when resting. I am in in cold weather now after being in warm weather and after working out in a dance class for the past month about 3 days a week. Until now I have not had this kind of pain. It is not getting better. what can I do until I go to an appointment 4Feb

Hi,
If you are getting pain in the leg where the rod is you should consult your orthopedic surgeon. It is not usual to have pain even with exercise. There is the possibility that the rod may have to be removed and waiting until Feb would be a long wait.
