Impingement In Left Shoulder. X-ray Showed Patchy Consolidation Incompletely Imaged Lung Zone. Cause Of Concern?
I am a 56 year old female, I am 5 6 and weigh 190 lbs. I went to the er the other day with an inpingement in my left shoulder . While I was there, they did an xray of my shoulder, which showed nothing in my shoulder, but did show a patchy consolidation incompletely imaged in the left mid to lower lung zone. Is this something to be concerned about?
Hi, welcome to HCM.
It is difficult to say about exact pathology in lungs. Please visit your ER room and get your chest xrays done. If there is consolidation then you may need antibiotic therapy.
It is usually not recommended to comment on region which are not focused properly. Depending on shoulder problem you may need MRI of shoulder joint. Because in shoulder injury mainly ligaments and soft tissue get affected.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
