Increased Frequency Of Flutter And Atrial Arrhythmia After Cataract Operation

Ever since I had Versed for my Cataract operation, I am experiencing an increased frequency of flutter and atrial arhythmia accompanied often with a choking sensation, but not always. I do have acid reflux, but that had been under control with no attacks. I noticed that I had an increase in flatulence with an increase in the number of bowel movements. Could there be some kind of Vagal stimulation of the heart by actions in my gut? Also i get headaches, chills

Hi i read your query very carefully.

Yes this may be due to bowel movement that trigger for atrial flutter.

I suggest to:
- eat slowly and small portion,
- avoid alcohol, caffeine and carbonated drinks
- use probiotics
- control thyroide hormones

Hope it was of help!
