Infant. Frequent Watery Stools Filled With Mucus, Teething. History Of Fever, Better With Medication. Normal?
hi i have a one year old baby, and i get confused because last saturday he had this fever of 38.7 and i give him opegesic and the fever easily subside...then followed lbm but it was just little poop coming out. I thought it was just because of his teething because lots of teeth are coming out then on the next day he still continue to poop but before he will poop he will cry then after he will be relieved...his poop watery and mucos....is my baby having amoebaisis...thank you
I understand your concern for your baby. Now that he is one year of age, he would be a toddler baby and it is normal to have a slight temperature when your baby is teething or having an allergy. There is no cause for concern. However if the temperature exceeds 39 please visit with a pediatrician who might be able to help with the situation. I also think that it might be worth the effort to get stool testing done to rule out/in amoebiasis to help relieve your anxiety.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
