Infant. Had A Surgery For Anal Rectal Malformation. Planning To Start With Formula Milk Due To Insufficient Breastmilk. Explain Preparation

Hi Sir,

I am sekhar. My baby is now 11 months old.The baby undergone has a ANAL RECTAL MALFORMATION and undergone a surgery on day1. Upto now he is on breast feeding, but now a days mothers milk is not sufficient for him so we asked the doctor and he suggested instead of buffalo milk keep him on formula.

so we bought lactogen formula 2nd stage.but can you tell me how to mix the powder with water, i came to know that if there is any wrong ratio mixing it will cause baby trouble like colic and constipation and frequent bowel movements.
so please tell me for 11 months how much water we need to add for one scoop of powder.

what type of anal rectal malformation was that and it has been rectified by surgery or not. definately for a 11 month old baby breast milk is not sufficient alone even only milk is not sufficient for his normal growth.he needs to be put on semisolid diet now. semisolid diets like suji,kheer,pulses and lot more preparations.has your doctor asked you not to give semisolid diet to your baby.if not thn plz start with semisolid diets and make sure to maintain proper hygeine.continue with breast feeding.when baby grows little more old thn you can stop breast feeding and switch on to cows milk along with solid diets.

Lactogen has to be mixed in boiled and cooled water.
You should take care strict hygienic measures during preparation.
Each scoop has to be mixed in 30 ml of water.
You can see the instructions on the package for further information.
