Infant Having Cold And Cough. Prescribed With Asthalin Syrup. What Medication To Use In Nebulizer?
Hello Doctor, My Child is 8 months old and suffering from cough & cold for last 5 days. Dr. prescribed Cosyp syrp initially and later after 2 days changed it to Asthalin syrp. But I dont see and recovery yet. I have purchased a nebulizer as well. What medication do I use in a nebulizer and do I need to opt for any other medicine.

Don't mind but its very strange that you have bought a nebuliser on your own for managing cough and cold of your 8 months old child. Now you are asking about the medication for nebulisation. Its not so easy dear.
Either trust your doctor because most of the respiratory infection are usually viral in origin and it takes its own time to resolve or if condition of baby is worsening or you have any doubt then consult some other specialist, but don't treat him yourself.
