Infant Having Cold, Wheezing, Coughing. What To Do?
Namasthe Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day If there is only coughing and wheezing without associated hurried breathings its likely to be uncomplicated upper respiratory tract infection. Steroids are usually not advisable in infants unless used for specific indiations. I would suggest you the following 1. Alternate Normal saline and Salbutamol Nebulization will be helpful 2. Keep the baby warm 3. Avoid dust- Thoroughly wash beed sheets in hot water In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you Wishing you happy and healthy life Take Care Best Regards Dr Deepak K K MBBS,MS,MCH
