Infant Having Persistent, Terrible Nasal Congestion Making Him Fussy Due To Nasal Blockage, Had Ear Infection, Mucus In Throat, Smelly Ear Wax

Hi, i have a 5 month old and since he was born, he has had terrible nasal congestion , at first his doctor said it was from when he was in the womb and it would clear up in a few months, and still every he wakes up crying because he cant breathe through his nose. He also has had three ear infections , and for the past few weeks, it has gotton worse, and he has mucus in his throat and pulls at his ears, also he has dark yellow, smelly earwax , last time we saw the pediatrician she said his ears looked fine, but he coughs and the nose congestion is out of control

Hi,
your baby seems to be having recurrent attacks of UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION which may present with nasal congestion, runny nose, earache, ear discharge, with or without fever. It would be BEST to get her checked up by an ENT SPECIALIST. In the meantime you can start him on a saline nasal drop like Nasoclear/ Nasivion-S. Hope i have been able to be of some help.
