Infant On Life Support With Brain Bleed. He Was Given Whole Bottle Of Advil And Had Fallen Down. Are These Causes Of Bleeding And Swelling Of Brain?
I am grand son who is 3 months old was give a whole bottle of infant advil within 3weeks he is now on life support with a brian bleed . he was very easily brusied and today he threw up and stopped breathing cpr was given on the floor but not infant cpr . could ither one of these cause bleeding and swelling of the brain

consuming whole bottle of advil as a single does or multipledose withen 1 day can cause decrease in platelet count and hense can cause bleeding in brain and swelling. There is history of brusing which suggest that decrease in platelet was there.
Bleeding and swelling in brain can cause stoppage of breathing and hense CPR is required
